Hi StarBrite, I take capsules, 3 400mg 4 times a day. I had to experiment a little to find the best dosage for me. I started out with 1, 4 times a day, then 2 and then 3. When I tried 4, it was too much. The only problem I found was the strength. Dependent on a particular mfg co the percent, mgs, and dosage varied. I also had a slight die off effect too (nothing serious, headache and a slow tired feeling for a day). Thats when I backed off the higher dosage. Hope this helps.
