You mean 'facts' like the earth is flat...and hollow, diseases are caused by miasmas, the atom is the smallest particle and undivisible, the sun revolves around the earth...and so on and so on...not to forget the many 'facts' that explain gravity.

Scientific FACTS do not equal scientific THEORIES. Can our origins be PROVEN? Scientific FACTS can be replicated through experimentation. We cannot perform an experiment that will replicate our origins. Can we PROVE the existence of God, god, a universal force...or however you want to refer to it? NO. But neither can we DISPROVE it.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS OBJECTIVE SCIENCE! The moment something is observed (let alone manipulated and experimented with) it changes. The bias of the scientist is often observed in the very questions that are being asked...not to mention who's funding the 'science' and the political climate of the day. And statistics can be manipulated in so many ways that Science tells us that a fat man will float. I had a stats teacher who began his class by stating that I'm a stats professor who is here to tell you that a fat man sinks. (He was pretty big!)

Scientific 'fact' depends upon the FAITH in the laws of Science and the 'facts' that have 'proven' before. Science has its place; one of its greatest benefits is that it leads to more questions than it answers. But science is not the be-all and end-all of 'facts' and the knowledge of the universe.

As I said before, science is your religion, the material world is your altar and your senses are your gods.
