Hi Resurrectionist and anyone else,

I've looked at the 2 references given by Johnny Vegas in the second post in the thread [Tnaks, Johnny]. It would be easy to assume that the references to "cholesterol gallstones" mean that these are NOT calcified.


from the US govt website:

"Cholesterol stones are usually white or yellow in color and account for about 80 percent of gallstones. They are made primarily of cholesterol."


Do you, or does any other poster, know for certain whether cholesterol stones are invariably calcified, or never calcified, or sometimes calcified.
