Hi Lisa,

The quote wasn't meant to be offensive. It's Woody Allen after all! I liked it. As an artist I constantly ask myself why. I am interested in consciousness, and while art is all about consciousness, I feel consciousness trumps art, ultimately. I think that's what 'ol Woody was getting at.
