well, i had the same feelings you did. i didn't want them to judge me or think of me differently, ya know. but when i finally let it out when i called my best friend, she was really quiet. i asked her if i scared her and she said yes, but she also said she was glad i told her. then i told another person i trust who used to cut herself. a couple other people know and they were pretty understanding and not condemning or acccusing. i guess the best thing they did was listen and pray for me. they didnt have to say much, just encourage me. my advice is to tell someone older than you and try not to tell people your age, unless they're your best friend or have gone through the same thing. talking to someone older helps b/c they are more understanding i think. if you don't feel ready to tell anyone yet or don't know who to tell, you might want to distract yourself and keep yourself busy so you don't have time to cut or be alone much. just remember that you're not bad or crazy. you might not have been able to tell others your feelings yet or don't know what to say or how to say what you're going through. well, now i'm rambling, so bye for now. take care
