We are thinking and reasoning beings and God made us that way. Therefore, I don't believe that if we ever excercise that reasoning skill that it will 'tempt' him. Also Sharon, I am merely asking others to do for themselves what men before them have already done! The early translators did just what I am asking others to do as well. Get the original manuscripts in front of them, get a good lexicon or Hebrew/Greek Study Bible and see if you agree with the translators. Why do you see that as a threat to all christianity?

Especially Now that the Bible is available in it's original forms, whereas before it was not, why shouldn't we consider that original form? I furthermore believe that No matter in what form that the Word of God is living and Active (Hebrews 4:12), and also that no matter how the Truth is shared, it will not return void(Isaiah 55:11 and Mt. 24:35). So no matter what, if the Word is spoken, it will have effect, whether people admit it immediately or not. That's why I don't think anyone should ever stop reading the Bible, no matter how they get their hands on it and which version it is. The Word of the Lord is a strong tower. I believe this Sharon, I am not preaching against the Bible. I am merely asking people to reason things out in their own mind. If you do not want to do that, I believe you will still see mighty results, because if you use the Word of the Lord, it will accomplish it's task, because it is living and active.
So please understand, I am asking for others to go deeper than perhaps they have thought about doing in the past. NEVER will I speak out against the Word of God because that is my Bread. And He is my Loving God who reached out his hand to save us. And as a sinner I will constantly be searching for ways to to please my God from my own heart rather than solely the interpretations of others.
Does that help you hear my heart a wee bit better?
