Although I admit that God could allow a person to go for longer than is normally possible, perhaps even years, without food or drink, that would be a definite MIRACLE. And it seems to differ from God's preferred sort of miracle by way of sustaining the body, which is miraculously providing food and drink. That is the example of the Bible.
Moses struck the rock and water flowed out. Manna in the wilderness. Birds flying from "nowhere" to be eaten. Water into wine. Fish and loaves for the 5,000+. Casting the net and catching an overabundance of fish. I have heard stories of more contemporary miracles of such a nature, as well, for example World War II stories. People imprisoned for their faith. Etc. God provides.
And yes, as hopinso pointed out - breatharianism seems to deny the need for anyone or anything. "I don't need God. Look at me - I don't even need food! I am above that! I am a god myself, within" seems to be the mentality. Apparently one reason God provided food was to show our dependance on him. Food or no food, whether they realize it or not, this is a foolish idea, for humans are dependant on God for their EVERY BREATH.

And yes, the way we interact with creation is amazing. The definite handiwork of God!
