the lord god almighty has no name. he is who he is and there is no one else like him, so he needs no name. when moses asked him who he should tell the children of israel that he talked to, the ord said to tell them basically what i just told you - "i am who i am. tell the children of israel that the god of abraham and isaac and jacob is the one who is sending you. i am is sending you".

jesus name in hebrew is yeshua, or joshua, which means salvation. pretty self explanatory there.
