I am always sad when I hear of yet another church moving to overheads. I know many churches keep the hymnals but few choose to use them and after a while they are forgotten about.

I think holding the books in worship such as the Bible, hymnals, printed bulletins, communion elements, etc. add a tactile element to worship - let's involve as many senses as possible! I love kneeling to pray but my Southern Baptist church doesn't do that.
