"So, in light of these verses don't you think it would be pridefull to say I will not learn from God's people?"
No, not at all. Our primary council is from the Word of God, if from observation or conversation we discern "what is written" from God's people it only magnifies and glorifies the Lord Jesus. The Father has a local assembly and a Pastor/Teacher for every believer, a place to be taught "The Mind of Christ" by His authorized communicator. We also have an anointing from the Holy One 1Jon 2:20&27. It is not pride to look to God for our council but an exercise in faith, but it is pride to turn our "look" from Jesus the Author and Finisher of our Faith to the horizontal and seek advice and council from His people. We will never learn how to be alone "with" Him and "learn" from Him if we seek human solutions. Spiritual growth is learning to "depend on Him", carnality(spiritual infancy)is an insecure relationship with Christ and "walks by sight" and does not "please God". Paul, for example, when he recieved his revelation "did not confer with flesh and blood", but by faith went forward in his call from God. Gal 1:15-24. If Jesus says "come or go" pride would have me "check around" with God's people to see if I should, instead of going forward in faith obdience. God, in His plan, gave us The Word, an anointing, and a authorized Pastor/Teacher to expound The Word of God to us. The anointing (Holy Spirit) bears witness to our spirit if the communicated Word is of God or not.
I must go to work now.
One more thing though. We are all full of pride, but God is faithful to humble us.
