and then there is jesus to peter - flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but the father who is in heaven.

how does anyone else know what god has said to you? revelation from the father has much more authority than anyone else, i would think. it is one of the few catch phrases that i actually agree with - it is a personal relationship with jesus, your own personal savior. god said listen to HIM.
