It is very important to know that God has appointed people through the centuries and gifted them with the gift of teaching. To say we will not be taught by any man is to say God you don't know what you are doing! Friends, do not go this way of rebellion. There is no separate island in the body of Christ. I will share verses to show you that God has indeed given to us brethren gifted to teach.
Before I share the verses to back up what I say here. Please be careful to read and meditate on God's Word each day and be in prayer as well. As we have many wonderful Bible teachers we also have many false teachers spoken of in scripture, Jude is a good place to learn about false teachers. Also, remember that Satan is deceiving many...2 Corinthians verses 13 through 15 address this. Verse 14 says that Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Verse 15 goes on to say...Therefore it is not great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.
Be very careful dear friends in Christ...there are many that say with their mouth that they are your brother or sister but they do not teach the ways of God. They will say the Word of God is not for today or they will say the Word of God is not correct that men have distorted the Word of God. NO! God's Word is perfect for teaching and correcting us today because God has kept it according to His will. Do not listen to false teachers. Please read the book of Jude for more on false teachers, and 2 Peter chapter 2 has warning against following false teachers. Notice there are godly teachers and false teachers! Know the difference! Know your Word! God's Word is the Living Word of God!
Verses that show us that God has indeed given us teachers from whom we can learn.
James 3:1 says that many will become teachers, knowing that we will receive a stricter judgement.
Hebrews 5:12 speaks of us needing teachers to help us mature in the Lord. Please read 11-14
1 Timothy 1:7, Ephesians 4:11, 1 Corinthians 12:28 all address the gift of teaching. So we can clearly see that God has indeed set before us teachers.
Again, I want to encourage you to be careful to set asside time for God in prayer and in His Word. How will we ever know false teaching if we don't know Truth?
God bless as you follow Jesus!
