Years ago when I was pregnant with our son, now 19, we as new Christians decided to give to the Lord and His works here on earth. We had plans for my pay checks all the way to the end of my pregnancy. Well, when I was not quite 6 months along the doc said I had to quit work as of the end of that week, 4 days later. EEKS....!!! We had nothing for our baby yet, no crib, no clothes an on and on. And I had a Toyota 4x4 truck that I made the payments on that we could not afford if I were not getting a check. We were very anxious....

At this time my hubby came across scripture where the Lord said He could be tested in the giving area and He would provide. This being in the old Testement. We felt confident that the Lord would provide as we remained faithful in our giving. I quit and we contined to give. A friend took the truck and by the time our son was born we had a new crib, chest and lots of clothes for him!

Now this is the best part...This was back in 1986. I was making about $2000.00 a month, a lot of money back then. We never missed a penny of my salery. We were not short of funds. It was like I never even made that money each month. Our money went farther, we had money for what we needed each month with some to spare. This built my faith, big time. And I still remember this time when I feel weak in faith. And since then there are many other faith building tales I could tell as well.

The moral to this story, we sure can trust our God in heaven. He will provide. I do believe we have our part in this walk with Him and it is obedience. Of course, we are always to remember He blesses the just and the unjust so I have reaped many blessings that are totally according to His grace and mercy.

I see so many here at Curezone and out and about, CureZone Debate forum comes to mind, that are so hateful, and deceived, toward God of all creation and His people and my heart breaks for them. Remember to say a prayer for them each day.
