That quote comes from James and it is : "Faith without works is dead." The correct interpretation is our lifestyle---good works in response to our faith in Christ to further the kingdom. If you are witnessing, it is not going to be "Oh, I am a Christian and I dabble into Eastern religions." That will not win anyone..it will confuse them.

Also, in 2 Timothy it does state "For God does not give a spirit of fear, but one of love and self-control." (And another version I love: "For the Lord does not give us a spirit of fear, but one of POWER, LOVE, and OF A SOUND MIND)God gives the self-control and sound mind, not any sort of other type of following, enlightenment, or teaching. That is what brought me to Cure Zone--a sound mind, and self-control helps me with these sometimes-not-so-great-tasting cures. *lol* Not through meditation or yoga, but through His spirit. Remember the scripture: "Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit saith the Lord" ? It is in Zechariah 4:6.
