Are we not stewarts of our bodies on this Earth? Are our bodies not a temple for the holy spirit?

Jesus himself fasted and prayed for 40 days in the desert.

John the Baptist lived on locusts and honey.

I think today Christians focus too much on "Spirutual" cleansing and not keeping the body cleansed, through exercise, diet, and clean living...

For after all, isn't every body of each one of us, a temple unto the Holy Spirit? More important and more loved by God then the largest, most beautiful Cathedral in Europe?
