It seems to me that we have 2 dimensions to recognize, that which gives us the overall symbolic fulfillment or magnification of the Law (the spirit of the Law), & that which tells us we must still continue to honor the practicalities of the Law. For instance, why would we have one set of rules to exempt us from keeping the 7th Day Sabbath (which is not "man's tradition" ... that would be Sunday worship), yet all would agree we must not steal, commit adultery, or murder?

If JC tells us that we must not look upon a woman/man to lust after her/him or we have committed adultery in our hearts, or that we must not hate another or we have committed murder in our hearts, & it's the same as if we broke these commandments, then how can we squirm out of keeping the Sabbath Day as He gave it to us? It seems to me that, following the same logic, we're not exempt from honoring the 7th day Sabbath, but required to keep it in yet a deeper, more meaningful manner than before, focusing on the spirit of the Sabbath Law vs. the letter of the Law, as in setting aside this day to rest, worship, & fellowship vs. getting hung up on the letter of whether we should wash a dish or care for a sick relative?

If we're allowed to throw out the 7th day Sabbath, then shouldn't we also be allowed to steal & commit adultery or murder if it's convenient or seems "right"? After all, if JC "fulfilled" the Law such that we don't have to obey it anymore, why should we have to honor any of it anymore?
