Sara...you may have learned something very important. Yay! When coming to a new forum, group, etc. it is best to watch for a while before joining in. That way you can get a grip on what the group is about and where it is going. Good job!

One very important thing this group is about that you did not mention is we encourage one another in our walk the the Lord Jesus. And we life one another up in prayer and come beside one another, best we can, when there are needs. This is a group to be loved and cherished for sure.

Looking at the posts I really don't believe you were attacked at all but were told very clearly what this group is about. That is a very good thing.

I want to share something with you...
I have a very good Christian friend that I was visiting with not long ago. In conversation she was sharing something with me and said she would be having good kharma...what??? Right away, I stopped the talk and asked why she would use such a term. She said she merely meant the reap and sew of the Bible. But, she needs to stop using eastern religeon words because the meaning is clear to the world who does not know the Bible or my friends heart. She needs to use speicifc Bible words when describing God's Ways not Hindu words because as a Christian she is better off identifying herself with Christ's people in deed and word. I tell you this story because I see you using new age words to describe your walk the Jesus. This really threw me off, because I don't know you so I took your words face value. I really thought you a false teacher because your choice of wordings. But, as I have been able to visit with you, I now believe you are trying to use words that are friendly to unbleievers in order to minister to them. Please reconsider and consider using Bible words and terms. No where in God's Word does he tell us to compromise ourselves for the lost. Believe me when anyone that does not understand wants to know what you are talking about they will ask. I want to see you linking yourself with Bible believing, Jesus loving Christians.

One more thing...remember Christians with different gifts present themselves in different ways. The easiest people to fellowship with are those gifted with grace gifts such a serving, giving, etc. They are so sweet. On the other hand when dealing with us that are gifted with exhortation, discerning of spirits, etc, we are dealing with folks that are very direct and see mostly black and white where truth is concerned. We are not so sweet but are like sandpaper. I know I am one of those sandpaper people. But, we need lots of grace and mercy to live together in love and respect.
