Most times if I feel like not going to church it is because I don't want to see some of the people there or get tied up in the pettiness etc.

It is during those times that the Lord reminds me I go to church for HIM not for the people there. I go to church as a dedication of time for Him in Worship and His Word. Not for whatever pettiness may lie within the cliques or peoples hearts.

Even though some sunday's seem like a battle to get there, I know I come away feeling blessed - and even moreso if I just focus on God and not the people around me.

May God strengthen you Sharon and heal whatever hurts the church has caused !
