Jack Van Impe is not converting to Roman Catholicism!

What happened is that before, when the man was a right wing fundy - he would constantly find fault with Roman Catholicism, which in fact did detrimental service to Christianity. Every denomination of TRUE Christianity plays a role in the Church "Body".

Just like a human body - all the parts, organs and cells work together for what is good. Ideally, that is how the Church Body should be also. Regardless of denomination they all have a role to play in the Church of Jesus Christ.

I think that is what Mr. Van Impe is trying to express - that the "Church" all needs to work together. We should never discriminate a church or fellow Christian because of denomination.

When you look at the major stance that the Roman Catholic Church takes on abortion, homosexuality and the family unit - they have done a world of good to have those issues taken seriously in the Christian communities all across the world.
