I think when one is referring to soul ties - it is a bonding of the soul (mind-will-emotions) and when that is unhealthy or ungodly, can attract or make us vulnerable to demonic spirits that can affect our spiritual well being - given that one can affect the other.

Soul...meaning the mind-will-emotions? Of course they can be intertwined or meshed (bonded to one another) and there is plenty of scriptural reference and examples to support this.

And as for the rapture - definitely another discussion for another day! But, I am curious...which scripture uses or defines the word rapture?
