I would have to say that I agree with you Zule.

Trials and troubles will come, but I don't believe God sends them.

I believe it is because of the original sins of Adam and Eve which consequently caused the fall of man; therefore trials and troubles come because we live in a fallen world.

I do believe though that God will see us through any trial if we are (like you said) obedient, humble and loving God!
