Hello, thanks for getting back to me. After 1 week, the sharp pains are gone. They have been replaced by general soreness when chewing. Almost like touching a bruise. Sometimes there are sharp pains in the jaw, but those have gone away. It just feels very tender still. I hope this is normal! THanks
