There should have been 2 things that came out of the candle, the powdery light color stuff is NOT yeast, it is ear candle, the darker stuff, usually long and thin is the wax that came out of your ear. I am an acupuncturist and provide ear candling to many patients. Most have gone to their doctor and told there was nothing wrong and after the candling had great relief with symptoms such as sinus congestion and ear pain and "popping" in the ear. I have burned candles on their own and all that is inside is the light colored powdery stuff.
