Ptree,

This is exactly what I have been thinking about...the wax falling into my ear. Now that you have told me this I do not think I want to do it at all. My man is the one that would have helped me with this. He really really does not want to do it, but of course I had him talked into it. I got as far as getting the paper plate all rigged up and he said wait. It is almost as if "something" is saying NO to this procedure. I looked for hours on the internet the other day, trying to find a person to do it for me. I had no success. This is the ear that gave me so much trouble when I was young. Always infected, it went on for years. Once the quack actually lanced my ear drum to prevent it from bursting. I think I won't do this. Thank you so very much for your input !!

I did the peroxide a long time ago when this same thing was going on. It was horrible !!!! I would not do it to a dog !!! It did not help and actually seemed to make it even worse. *LOL* I do not see how any one stands to put peroxide in their ears!!

What I cannot figure out about this ear candling thing, is what does stop the wax from falling into the ear all the time ? I read and read instructions on the internet about how to do this. I also do not understand how this can actually pull out wax. Does it really "suck" your ear ? I am not willing to try it right now. I sure would like to hear from other people that have done this.

Once again, thank you Ptree !
