I agree with Incharge. I would find another dentist. Also, you should consider finding one that is of the "holistic/biological" type that specializes in the proper extraction techniques. Ask many questions on the exact procedure of the extraction. The proper procedure is not the same as conventional dentistry, who will simply pull the tooth and leave you with a cavitation and probably infection. The proper tooth extraction method actually cut the gum and remove the tooth from the top down, as opposed to simply pulling it. The experienced holistic dentist using this method will also clean the bone under the gum so that it will heal without any infection left at the extraction site. The gum is then closed using stitches to avoid bacteria to enter the site. It must be done correctly to avoid infection and a cavitation in left in the jaw bone. Otherwise, you can end up with problems down the road as cavitations left unbrided can result in infection and cause other health problems at a later time. Most people (including doctors) would not believe that their heart problem (for example) years later was due to an improper tooth extraction. I have 2 cavitational sites left from wisdom teeth extractions. I am going to get these debrided.
Keep healthy and God Bless....
Joe
