Hi:
I'm in the same boat (except that I'm only on day 3). I will be spending Sunday with my mother the nurse, and my grandmother (also once a nurse). Of course, the plan is to take grandma to lunch!

I hate to lie to my mother, but I think that I will tell her that I have diaharea and am afraid to eat anything, as we will have a long drive home. It's not all that far from the truth. She absolutely will make my life miserable if I tell her that I'm fasting for any length of time.

I thought about just skipping the event, but my grandmother is 86 and I really want to spend the day with both of them.
