Well, I suppose this is one bandwagon it is okay to jump on. I am trying this again - today would have been day 6 for me, but I think I should just start over as of tomorrow having fallen off my wagon in a big way today (birthday parties, out for celebrations, and chinese food to end it all).
My biggest downfall during the first run was not so much being hungry, it was trying to find ways of keeping the lemonade with me and not premixing and having it just taste like straight pepper as a result. I am a full time student and full time worker, so I am not sure how to counter this little issue, short of carrying the pepper with me along with bottles of lemonade already made up. Any suggestions?
Also, I found that it wasn't that I was hungry, but rather missed the feeling of eating. I think I could better handle it if I had a little more variety in the fast - I understand the purpose of fasting, but I am a definate foodaholic (to borrow the word), and it would be much easier for me to work through the first ten days if I had just a couple different options. Any recommendations as to what I can supplement the fast with while still getting maximum detox/weight loss benefits?
I have started this as a way to try and fix my asthma and allergies, but also to see if it will help bring my hormones into balance again from too many years of contraceptives. As a result, over the past 4 years I have gained about 65 pounds, most of it put on over the last year. With this cleanse I hope to bring my weight back down, but more importantly to help my body recover from all the types of hormones it has been subjected to.
That's it for now, I promise the next one won't be this long!
ta-ta for now
