Well Scoutman, that is truely awesome that your grandpa lived to 96 after having his GB out in the 50s. This is precisely the kind of info that needs to be posted here. We need to learn more about what happens to people after GB surgery. Any other details you might know about how he felt or his general health would be useful. Was he a happy guy or depressed? Any pains, digestive problems, fat, thin?
