You need calcium carbonate and vitamin d if you get something else you may not get as good of results. Coral calcium may have some added minerals such as magnesium and this will cause more diarrhea. I too have found coral calcium to be more expensive. You can try it but if you are not happy with the results then get calcium carbonate with vitamin d.
