I've read messages here before but today, I took the time to register just so I could post this message. I have suffered so badly with chronic diarrhea since my gall bladder removal 3 years ago, that I couldn't leave my home. I've been prescribed Questran, Flagyll, you name it. All seemed to want to "try" to work at first, but the diarrhea returned while still on the medicine. Finally, I've found something that has me feeling normal for the first time in years and I just wanted to share it here in case it helps someone else. I am now taking "probiotics". After hearing this from a doctor who supports natural treatment, I went to my local health food store and purchased a bottle of something called Multidophilis DDS-1. There are 4 billion active "friendly" microorganisims in it. I take one in the morning and one when I go to bed. I was also told by the doctor that I had practically no iron in my system, due to being malnurioushed, so I take an iron tablet once a day. The diarrhea has stopped! I feel as if I've "escaped" my house and started having a real life. Yesterday I bought a motorcycle just because I can actually leave the house. I sure hope this works as well for anyone here who has had the same trouble.
