But also if your hernia is small, I would avoid getting it repaired. Lose weight, and keep your weight off,but when you lose weight, you need to eat a balanced diet, then you can probably even live with small Hernia the rest of your life. Do not fast when losing weight, that may make your hernia worst.

I did not really need to get my Hernia repaired, since I lost weight,but I made the mistake of doing Laparoscopic hernia repair, this is the worst way of getting a Hernia repaired!!
