With suspected Hernia

what am i not to do

Doctor said Heavy lifting / coughing would make it worse

Ex Nurse has said No lifting , pushing hoovers, be carefull bending and hard breaking in car (try and think ahead) coughing ok if put hand on lump to hold it, generally think twice about things you do normaly without thinking about

which is correct have i got to try and do hardly anything for months till its sorted will the above really make it bigger

if its made bigger does this increase likelihood of problem one

what about sex ?

will i still have pains after op , do they mess up your life ?
