Several years ago I had a simple hernia operation and went home the same day. No big deal, but, I noticed a change in my body chemistry right after the operation. I was 155-160 lbs for 30 years. And after the operation, I didn't burn off the calories as easily as before. I'm now at 170-175 lbs. Go figure......Anyone know why?
