Hi Karlin:

I wrote you below under my post. Yours sounds a lot like my husband's. He does get constipation, too. One thing I did that helps him, is to wrap a piece of cotton-spandex fabric around his underwear and sew it down (heavy on the spandex). Maybe in a light case, this could prevent it from getting worse, if you do have a hernia.
