i never use aluminum, i use copper wires and a stainless steel bowl. i am aware that steel is an Amalgam and has multiple different metals in it. i am not sure nickel or chromium are that bad in trace amounts, tho its certainly possible. i have never used a ceramic container, would that actually conduct a charge?
