Yes that's a good question. But if one is trying to get rid of candida by getting more alkaline, but also has a very bad detoxoficiation and slow liver, what should one do? MSM is very helpful in detoxofication. Maybe one should not take such large doses of MSM and still follow the alkaline regimen?

Gosh this was a hard decision to make!!
