I understand from this forum that for a mineral to be organic then it has to be bound with carbon e.g calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate.

However the colloidal mineral tablet (the one tablet contains the following) I take is a mixture of calcium phosphate, magnessium phosphate, iron phospate, sodium phosphate and potassium phosphate. So are these organic minerals?

Also what do you think of the quality of these minerals, are they absorbed/utilized more efficiently than the calcium/magnessium carbonates.

I thought bones where made up of calcium phosphate, so does this mean that if you take the phosphate minerals rather than the carbonate minerals, then your body does not need to work as hard to utilize the minerals (e.g put it into your bones etc) compared to the carbonated forms?

Thanks

Dave
