ooo! an anglophile! Want to drive around the British isles with me? :)

Porridge is a loose term for any hot cereal made of flakes, oats or coarsley ground whole grains. I use the term because you should pick your hot cereals based on taste and Dosha, so I can't always go around recommending a particular grain. :)
