Nope! Flax seeds are completely different than psyllium. :) The insides are full of oil, the seeds have the highest amount of oil of any seed, and the husks are absolutely impervious to anything. If you were to eat a teaspoon of whole flax seeds, they'd pass thru your system and come out whole.
