I go ahead and get both the Chinese bitters and planetary formula's bupleurum liver cleanse and take both. The reason is because sometimes I just cannot cannot handle the bitterness and alcohol in the tincture. I take the tincture because I like the fact that tinctures are fast-acting and don't depend on being digested before going to work on one's liver. so each day I go back and forth. :)

You also need to cleanse the colon thoroughly, and do at least 4 liver flushes. Have you done any flushes yet? Do you have anything to keep the bowels moving/ clean? The most cost effective/health effective is a colema or enema bucket setup, which can cost as little as 30 bucks, an excellent investmnet in one's health! :) I got my latest one from Health & YOga in India.
