Hello! I am new to researching hypnosis but I have had a LIFELONG problem of being chronically disorganized and messy. It is something that I have never been able to help, since I was very young. I cannot organize myself or my things, no matter how hard I try. It is not so much mental, as I have a photographic memory and can keep lists in my mind, so I can keep my tasks or daily errands organized in my brain. It's more physical- I can't keep track of papers, my desk is a disaster zone, and I can't keep my room, bathroom or kitchen free of clutter. It's not DIRTY, just messy. I have tried every organizational box, crate, shelf, etc and have spent countless hours throwing away old unwanted junk to try and clear the clutter (another problem is that I am a hopeless packrat). I am wondering if some hypnosis would help me break this pattern and allow me to be more organized/clean. I really want to just be able to pick up after myself, but as easy as that seems I CAN'T DO IT. Then I don't even notice the mess until weeks later when it is completely out of control and by then I'm too overwhelmed to do anything about it. I am so frustrated at this point in my life. I recognize the problem but try as I might, I can't seem to maintain an organized lifestyle. I am like the absolute opposite of those people you see/know who are obsessed with keeping a clean house; just as they can't help their behavior I can't either. I have tried looking up hypnosis info but there is no mention of this. I know it can help other negative behavioral habits like smoking or overeating, so can it help me?
