Most of these salts are about 98.32 % or so of NaCl or pure salt. The rest is minerals, the largest % using being calcium at .03% or so. Therefore how many minerals do these salts actually have? It doesn't seem like much.
I know some of the Himalayan salts may be more around 96 or 97 % salt, but is that still even a significant source of minerals.
I see the claims for Sea Salt being a good source of minerals, but I have to disagree on this point.
They are a good source of ionic salts which is great for electrolyte balance and for building HCL in the gut, but the other mineral content seems pretty insignificant.
