Reason why that's coming back to hurt you is because you haven't really expressed all the feelings you had as a result of not only that rape, but also previous abuses. That, and because you haven't yet found that "warrior" in you. Once you feel strong and wise enough to protect youself, and as a result you know that it is unlikely that abuse will happen ever again, you will not have those things come back to haunt you!

God bless you and your husband - he's a proof that someone up there loves you!

Also, try to pray and to give your grattitude for husband you have (being married to a good person shows that you are also changing towards being able to protect yourself from evil!). Pray that past stays in past (there is no point in remembering that an extracted tooth used to hurt right?), and that you find a new way of dealing with evils of society instead of just being afraid it might happen again. Pray to God to give you strength to deal with evil so that you know how to protect yourself and those you love (kids and husband).

Do that and watch miracles happen. If you are convinced that you want to be happy, and that you have every right to be happy, just don't know how to get there, prayer is perfect answer.
