I think that your Mom is so hurt and she feels so guilty that she didn't protect you, that she acting that way... Just give her time and show her that you healed, parents are suffering enormously when their child is hurt. I am a mother now and I know it well.

Life doesn't suck at all, you will learn to think the opposite, better sooner than later, take my advice, life is good, even when it sucks...it can always get worse...
