I know that people are going to talk...thats a give...but to do so so casually like you were talking about what you had for dinner just smacks of having no regard for this poor woman.

I'm going to take your approach. I'll keep her in prayers and provide some meals for the family if she'll let me. I spoke with her sister and she said she doesn't want to go back to the house. This is way understandable but now poses another major problem as she and hubby run a bed and breakfast and a garden center out of their home.

I can understand your mistrust even with a close friend...after all...the person closest to you was the one who did what he did. I wouldn't trust either and after this I'm pulling some reigns in. I have a ten year old daughter who I have to think of. She's been wanting to move her room from the upstairs rooms where we all sleep into the guest room downstairs. I'm not going to do that now. My son rents an apartment from me which is right in my backyard...I've told him and his roomate to review and cut down on who they have over cause it's not going to be like grand central station any more.

Over-reaction? probably but this is enough to shock anyone into over reacting.
