Isn't it all relative I mean if your doing several grams of pure heroin a day compared to a weened down methadone dosage withdrawel! I mean it would'nt matter at all if your were using heroin or methadone as a way of gradually decreasing your dosage to a managable point of withdrawel! I am not claiming that methadone is any better I am talking about the process and the guidance through it to complete withdrawel! I mean should'nt there be an option for those who failed many times trying to white knuckle it and just cannot do it on there own!
