i really don't think it was the castor oil packs that cured her of alcoholism... the desire to be free of the severe intestinal pain... to regain her health... gave her a desire to live... it takes a moment of clarity for most alcoholics to open their eyes... to become aware... when they finally admit to their inner-most self that they are going to die if they continue drinking the way they do... in her case she knew deep down that the intestinal problem was only a symptom related to the abuse of alcohol...
