You should also consider reading Spontaneous Healing by Dr. Andrew Weil it has a wonderful story of a man being healed from scleroderma by drinking aloe vera juice, eating fresh lemons, washing his skin with vinegar and taking vitamin e supplements. Be patient with your wife she might come around to the natural remedies. I was diagnosed in June of 2004 and the prescription medicines just don't work. Going to a chriopractor has helped with some of the pain maybe she might want to try that.
