I use olive of cloves for tooth aches or any kind of dental pain. It is VERY strong and the amount needed fits on a toothpick, which I stick in the bottle. It is cheap and can be found at the drug store.

It will burn your gums if you put it right on them. I have before, because I could not stand the pain any longer. I would NOT suggest you do this, it will eventually eat the gums. At the time I did not care and did it any way.
