A couple month ago I chomped down and cracked my rear tooth on my lower left side. Then about two weeks ago it started to hurt beyond any pain I've felt in a lifetime. The pain affected the gums on my entire bottom left side and then started hurting the side of my head. Then a few days later, the tooth above it (last tooth, upper layer on same side) started hurting too. I felt the tooth and relized that it was also cracked. Now its the entire upper and lower gums on the left side of my jaw that hurt like a flaming dagger was there. I seem to gotten around most of the pain by drinking only room temperature drinks and food, and also just chewing food on the right side of my mouth. So its tolerable most of the time now. I am thinking about getting pliers and pulling these teeth since I just got layed-off from my job and have no coverage. Is that the only solution, or will damaged/cracked teeth heal? I will under no circumstance get any metal fillings (mercury) so I guess I need to get them pulled. Can this be done safely with pliers? Thanks in advance.
